Join Supervisor Paul O’Grady, Senator Bill Cunningham and Representative Fran Hurley at the Orland Township Office, 14807 S. Ravinia Ave., Orland Park, on Saturday, April 21, 2018, from noon to 3 p.m. for a free Kids’ Health and Safety Fun Fair.
The event will feature several health and safety booths from local and state government agencies that will provide a wide range of safety education, healthcare and programs for kids.
Scheduled to attend:
-Brookfield Zoo Animal Ambassadors
Featuring zoo animals for kids to see and interact with – 1 – 1:45 p.m.
-Orland Park Police Department
Free child fingerprinting
-Illinois State Police
-Illinois Attorney General’s Office
Orland Township Health and Youth Services will be available to screen immunization records and offer vaccines and eye health testing to youth residing in Orland Township who meet certain eligibility requirements:
*Eligibility for Free Vaccines
-Must have an up-to-date U.S. immunization record and live in Orland Township
-Medicaid Title XIX (19)
-Native American or Alaska Native
-Underinsured (insurance does not cover vaccines, policy must be shown)
*Please note—anyone who meets the above requirements but lives outside of Orland Township boundaries will be charged a $20 administration fee per vaccine – cash or credit card only.
*Orland Township is unable to accept Medicaid Title XXI (21), state-funded, CHIP, or private insurance for vaccines.
