ORLAND TOWNSHIP’S HEALTH SERVICE HELPING TO FIGHT FLU OUTBREAK

                                                                                              FLU OUTBREAK

This flu season has been one of the worst, and according to the CDC there is another 11 to 13 weeks to go. A spokesperson for the CDC stated “Everyone is at risk right now, and if you have not gotten the flu shot, you should get vaccinated.” To help fight the flu outbreak, Orland Township’s RN will be available by appointment, Monday thru Friday, to provide the flu shot to adults 19 years of age and older who have not been vaccinated this flu season.

Children 18 years of age and younger can receive the flu shot at the Township’s monthly walk-in immunization clinics on Saturday, February 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or Tuesday, March 6th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ( no appointment need for walk-in immunization clinics).
