Crashy’s Closet is currently in need of dry dog food. Donations can be dropped off at Orland Township, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 :30 p.m.  Thank you!

“Crashy’s Closet,” Orland Township’s Pet Pantry, is named for a beloved rescue cat adopted by Supervisor O’Grady and his family. The Pet Pantry aims to provide food and supplies for pets whose families are experiencing financial difficulty.

The Crashy’s Closet relies on the generosity of the community and welcomes donations of dog and cat food, kitty litter, pet treats, pet shampoo, toys, collars, leashes, and other miscellaneous pet-related items.

Orland Township’s Pet-Palooza is the Pet Pantry’s only annual fundraiser. Pet-Palooza is an outdoor, family and pet friendly event, centered around pets and their care. Attendees are asked to make a donation of a bag of pet food or money upon entry to the large, outdoor event held entirely on Township grounds. The event includes more than 50 local vendors, free samples from local restaurants, a Kids Zone with inflatables, games, prizes and trackless train rides, and the popular pet contests with celebrity judges and emcee. Please check back for details on the upcoming event.
