Orland Township’s Medical Supply Drive for Ukraine

Home Orland Township’s Medical Supply Drive for Ukraine

With the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, Orland Township has partnered with Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, located at 8410 W. 131st Street in Palos Park, to provide critically needed medical supplies to the millions of local civilians involved in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The war has caused far-reaching humanitarian consequences for Ukrainians, like lost livelihoods and reduced access to basic needs, including that of emergency medical attention due to attacks on healthcare facilities and warehouses near conflict zones. Orland Township’s partnership with Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church hopes to increase access to medical services to both residents in conflict-affected areas and those on the frontlines.

Donations can be dropped off at Orland Township, located at 14807 Ravinia Ave. in Orland Park, on April 30 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Items must be NEW, UNOPENED, and UNEXPIRED. Monetary donations will be accepted, and checks should be made out to Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Gift cards to purchase supplies are also greatly appreciated. NO CLOTHING, FOOD, OR HYGIENE ITEMS will be accepted.
