To ensure social distancing during clinics, only children receiving immunizations and/or physicals, along with one parent or legal guardian will be allowed to enter the facility.

Orland Township provides residents with opportunities throughout the year to receive immunizations and health-related information through health fairs and flu shot clinics.

Back to School Health Fair

The Township’s Back to School Health Fair readies local students for the upcoming school year. Admission is free, but fees apply for some services.

Immunization, through the Vaccines For Children program are available to those who meet the following requirements:

  • Must have an up-to-date U.S. immunization record
  • Medicaid Title XIX (19) (*Please note: Orland Township no longer accepts Medicaid Title XXI (21))
  • Native American or Alaska Native
  • No Insurance
  • Underinsured (insurance does not cover vaccines – must show insurance policy)

Anyone who meets the above requirements will be charged a $10 administration fee per vaccine ($20 administration fee per vaccine for non-Township residents) – cash or credit only.

Additionally, school physicals (sports and health) are available for $35 for Township residents ($45 non-residents) and qualifying families can sign up for the Township’s school supply program.

Senior Health Fair

Held in May during Older Americans Month, Orland Township’s Senior Health Fair, has a variety of vendors that provide senior care and services along with several free health screenings that include blood pressure readings, cholesterol tests, blood glucose tests and hearing screenings.

Flu Shot Clinics

During flu season, Orland Township offers several opportunities for residents to get their flu shot. Township nurses administer flu shots at clinics held at the Township; Fees apply for flu shots.
