ORLAND TOWNSHIP – Building on the success of Orland Township’s two recent vaccination events for local seniors, Supervisor Paul O’Grady announced the Township will soon host its third – and largest – COVID-19 vaccine distribution now open to Township Residents in Phase 1B, Phase 1C and Phase 2
“If you live in Orland Township, whether in Orland Park, Tinley Park, Orland Hills, or within the unincorporated areas of the Township, all of us at Orland Township are working for you,” Supervisor O’Grady said. “There’s nothing more important than promoting the health and safety of all Township residents, especially seniors, individuals with underlying medical conditions, and essential workers.”
In partnership with Jewel-Osco, Orland Township will offer the COVID-19 vaccine by Pfizer-BioNTech to 2,300 people qualifying under Phase 1B and Phase 1C and Phase 2. This includes persons with cancer, diabetes and other underlying medical conditions, as well as clergy, restaurant staff, and workers in energy, legal, retail and transportation and logistics.
